Kolkata, India. The Dependent Delegation of Kolkata has organized an Assembly in two sessions for all the missionaries working in the region. The first session held in Kolkata from 6th to 10th February was attended by 27 participants. The second session was held in Ranchi from 12th to 15th February had a bigger group of 35 participants.

Bangalore, India. Members of the Claret Publishing Group (CPG) met together in the Claretian Provincial House Bangalore from 10-17 February 2018 for their triennial meeting. The group was accompanied by Rev Fr Henry Omonisaye,cmf Consultor General in Charge of the Publications in the Congregation with Fr Alberto Rossa,CMF as the coordinator. Mitendi, Dem. Rep. Congo. The night before yesterday (from the 14th to the 15th), well-armed robbers (bandits) entered our parish: Our Lady of Fatima in Mitendi. It was around 2:00 in the morning. They began by vandalizing the cooperative's office and that of the parish. Having found nothing, they decided to seek booty from our brothers.

Today, February 16, Bishop Pedro Casaldáliga Pla turns 90. He was born on a day like today in Balsareny (Barcelona, Spain). On October 8, 1945, he made his First Profession in our Congregation and on March 19, 1949 he made his Perpetual Profession. He was ordained to the priesthood on May 31, 1952.
